"ÇAKÜ Career Fair", organized by Çankırı Karatekin University (ÇAKÜ) Career Center, continued with the visit of the stands opened in the Sports Hall, after the opening program held in the Faculty of Law Conference Hall. Our Rector Prof. made the opening speech of the fair, which will last for two days. Dr. Harun Çiftçi wished that the fair would be beneficial for our university, our students and the institutions participating in the fair. Rector Çiftçi said, “One of the elements that realizes our trainings in many fields, our sectoral relations and our public-industry cooperation is our Career Center. The main goal of our Career Center is to train the qualified workforce needed by the market. When we look at the origins of the concept of career, we see that it is a concept that has been on the agenda since the 1600s until today. This concept has been constantly discussed on various platforms since the Industrial Revolution. The concept, which expressed a hierarchy when it first appeared, has now reproduced itself. It is also important to plan and manage your career and develop it in the process with the results obtained from these. "Today, the concept of career has become a concept that includes not only hierarchical promotion but also educational processes," he said.
