OUR HISTORY
With the decision of the Senate dated 08.2018, the establishment of the Career Development and Adaptation Coordination Office (KAGİN) within Çankırı Karatekin University was accepted and the members of the Executive Board were determined. With the decision of the Senate dated 10.2020, it was decided to change the name of the Career Development and Adaptation Coordination Office (KAGİN), established within our University, to Çankırı Karatekin University Career Center and the members of the Executive Board were determined.
Our Values as Çankırı Karatekin University:
Nationality: To protect the national culture, common customs and traditions of our society, which come from its historical heritage, and to strive to keep them alive.
Standard: To systematically improve career services and provide ease of access to career center services through a common Web portal and to create standards.
Accessibility: To make web-based vocational guidance services, communication and access to employment resources accessible to students and graduates in all geographies.
Development: To provide comprehensive programs and services to assist students, graduates, employers and other stakeholders in career management processes and to support the professional development of career center staff.
Putting Students, Graduates and Employers at the Center of Services: Being aware that the focus of the career center is students, graduates and employers, it is to show them the respect they deserve and provide the best service.
Integrity: Promoting a corporate culture that reflects the importance of a moral approach and being accessible at all levels within the framework of professionalism and respect.
Transparency: Evaluating and sharing the outcomes of career services to ensure continuous improvement.
Establishing new collaborations and strengthening existing collaborations between the university, employers, İŞKUR and other internal or external stakeholders;
To make the career center and the opportunities it offers to students known and visible through various methods;
To ensure the institutionalization and sustainability of career centers.
Our Objectives as Çankırı Karatekin University Career Center:
Expanding the scope of career center services for students and graduates, ensuring students and graduates` access to these services;
To help students and graduates plan their career goals in line with their education, talents and interests, while being aware of the needs of the labor market. To provide the necessary professional support to develop the competencies they will need to achieve these goals;
To improve the quality of career center services;
To increase students` academic success;
Increasing experiential learning, job and internship opportunities for students and graduates;
Establishing new collaborations and strengthening existing collaborations between the university, employers, İŞKUR and other internal or external stakeholders;
